Meeting with the Leadership of Departments of Education and Training
To implement the goals of the Vietnam’s National Foreign Languages 2020 Project, SEAMEO RETRAC has closely cooperated with the departments of education and training (DOETs) in different provinces in assessing the levels of English proficiency and conducting different training courses on English proficiency and English teaching methodology for the school teachers of English.To consolidate and develop this cooperation, Dr. Dang Van Hung, the Center Deputy Director, paid his visits to Ninh Thuan and Khanh Hoa provinces to work with the leadership from respective DOETs on the plan for English proficiency assessment and English language training programs on June 24-25, 2013.On this occasion, 88 teachers of English in Khanh Hoa province received their test score reports for the English proficiency test administered by SEAMEO RETRAC in May 2013.
