On Saturday, 30 September 2017, SEAMEO RETRAC’s Kiddy Programs cheerfully celebrated Mid-Autumn Festival with lots of fun and cultural activities for all ours students.

In order to motivate our children’s’ artistic and creative abilities and inspire teamwork amongst the children, Kiddy Programs conducted the 2017 Lantern Making Competition for students from level “Kids 2A” to “Youngsters”.

SEAMEO RETRAC successfully conducted the Educational Forum, namely “Integrating The 21^st Century Skills Into School Education: Best Practices In Southeast Asia” on September 22, 2017 in Danang City, Vietnam.  The Forum was held back to back with the Center’s 20^th Governing Board Meeting and served as a platform for the exchange and discussion of ideas and experiences in relation to integrating the 21^st century skills into school education.

In late September 2017, SEAMEO RETRAC welcomed its governing board to Da Nang City for our 20^th Governing Board Meeting (GBM).  The GBM is both a time to reflect on the past year and gather recommendations from our governing board members for the year ahead. The parent forum of Kiddy Programs was successfully held on May 14, 2017 with the attendance of about 150 parents.

In this forum, the participants attentively listened to the presentation made by Do Hong Ngoc, a well-known doctor and writer in Vietnam. The forum was a nice opportunity for parents to share their interests and concerns about how to successfully communicate with their children. April 19-22, 2017, SEAMEO RETRAC in cooperation with the Institute for Educational Administration Development (IFEAD), Lao Ministry of Education and Sports conducted the in-country training course in educational leadership and management for trainers in Vientiane, Lao PDR.
